There are good workaround solutions here, but there is really no reason not to have several customizable letters as an option.

I took the standard client letter and changed it to be my engagement letter. I have it set to print with client copy and my copy. They then get a copy for their records and I have a copy for them to sign with the efile papers.

Just edit the client letter to add whatever you want. It's easy and can be made flexible. We have a 4 page custom letter we send out with our Organizers. I'll be happy to share it.

The work around I have used has been to insert my engagement letter after the Client Letter in the Tax Organizer. The engagement letter goes out with every tax organizer. I am still manually inserting my privacy policy into the final Clent Copy tax packaged delivered to the client at the end of the process.

I've put in a request for 4 or 5 "standard" client letter options, rather than the single one now available. They could be simple, user-defined, blank templates that we could then use for any purpose -- client tax update letters, engagement letters, extension expiration warnings, thank-you notes, or just plain old PR.
