When e-mailing statements or invoices, directly from QB, the e-mail opened is still plain text instead of HTML which looks twenty years old. Please change the program to choose HTML and allow us to choose a standard font for all e-mails, not just the forms. We want to be able to e-mail invoices and statements to the clients but it needs to look like we sent them in 2012.

this feature would be a great help to my business. We are often in field at different properties and doing work or expenses that need to be recorded. It would be so much more helpful to be able to record these transactions immediately than wait and hope to remember the transaction later. It works with Windows, why not with Mac?

Ref Case #1-4016961183: Columns on the ITEM LIST can be customized, but the column headings can’t be modified. The width of the heading is often far greater than the maximum field size. If the column is narrowed to the info field size when the list is display, the column headings are lost. If the column width is left as is, there is little remaining room to display additional columns. This has had very detrimental effects in our business as item information is misinterpreted or communicated to customers and vendors by persons not familiar with QB or this issue. This problem could be fixed in at least 3 ways: 1) Allow users modification to Item List column headings 2) Wrap headings when column width is changed (i.e.Excel**) 3) Chg Item List headings: On PO, On SO, On Hand, RO Point, etc ** Data in the cell wraps to fit the column width, and Row Height adjusts automatically to accommodate wrap

We need to be able to use any mail program, and NOT just Outlook. (or OE). Especially now, with Windows 7, there is no Outlook Express. QB should use whatever email program the user wants.

As a CPA, I find it very frustrating that QB voids a transaction back to its original date, which impacts prior year tax return and audit numbers. I realize that you can set a "closing date" but it still is not a fool proof solution. Intuit should take a few notes from Peachtree which allows you to pick the date that you are voiding the transaction.

It is frustrating trying to find out what check was applied to what bill. Same thing for invoices. It seems to make sense to have the reports in more Columns than Rows. You would have the bill on the report and a column after it showing when it was paid and what check number paid it. If it was a partial payment, then the report would have two checks showing how and when it was paid but it would all be on ONE line so you can EASILY see the history, rather than click five times to get the full story.

We create sales orders for multiple jobs under the same customer. When we go to add the sales orders to an invoice they sort by job, then date. This makes it difficult to find the sales order in the list, and causes extra time in our workflow as we have to search through the list. It would simplify the process a great deal if we could search by date or SO number.

QuickBooks needs an alternate way to calculate the number of workers for Florida State Unemployment Reports. Some employers have sporadic payroll periods that do not necessarily include the 12th of the month. Several clients have gotten notices of incomplete report because if there are no paychecks generated that include the 12th of the month, there will be zeroes on the number of workers. However, the state wants the number of workers who recieved pay OR performed services in the pay period that includes the 12th of the month. Sometimes employees perform services but don't necessarily get paid for a pay period that includes the 12th of the month. I cannot take the time to check each paycheck to ensure that it includes the 12th of the month nor can I take the time to review every UCT6 and make sure there are numbers in the number of workers for each month.

Add Canadian addresses for recipients - there are many Canadians that have businesses in the US and we can't e-file because of the zip code. Fix the QES program - The email address was mine in all my filings - even when I put in a different address, it defaulted to mine. The second line of the company address did not show up on the form. Again Great that you can now LINK the TO DO to a specific customer IF you create it from the CUSTOMER or LEAD set up. BUT you have not given the option to LINK the to do to a customer or lead from the CALENDAR "add to do" option. If i am reviewing my CALENDAR for the day/week or month and i think of something that needs to be followed up on and want to ADD A TO DO - AND have is linked to a customer i have to flip to the CUSTOMER SET UP or the LEAD set up to add this. Doesn't make sense.

Having this Pull down List available in Both of the Centers entry screens would allow you to track new Leads - Jobs to an existing customer. I also have tested out the lead set up entry screens and find this is a great feature except when you convert the LEAD to a customer. You LOSE all the additional contact information that you need?????

The document center is great that is in the latest version of QB. When we invoice our customer, we have to have supporting documents to go with the invoice (proof of delivery) so we can get paid. We are scanning docs into the document center, attaching them with the corresponding invoice. However when we go to email the invoice from QB, the doc is not attached. Is there someway you can make this happen?
