  3. Ability to Progress Invoice in MAC Pro edition - like QB Windows

The ability to progress invoice in the Mac OS Pro edition, without needing to create discounts for payments already received. Need to invoice for prepayment due and then invoice actual hours worked against prepayment to show overage due on next invoice.

  5. Integrated Payroll for MAC - like QB Windows

We would like to see the QB for MAC use the same payroll program that our PC version uses. Our CPA will not use the programs offered on the MAC because the reports are not satisfactory for his needs. Please recreate the PC version of QB payroll for the MAC. This would make it possible for us to finally install all MACs and move off the PC's.

  8. Multiple-currency handling - like QB Windows

Many QB users come to the Mac forum in the QuickBooks Community asking for this feature, which apparently the Windows versions have had for a long time. It's time to add it to QuickBooks for Macintosh, I say!

  9. Vehicle Mileage feature - like QB Windows

I've just converted from QB Pro 2009 (win) to QB Pro 2009 (Mac), as the Mac platform is better suited to support a small business that doesn't have the resources for an IT staff to keep fixing the silly windows issues. The Mac version of Qb lacks the Enter Vehilce Mileage feature, so I'll have to dream up some vendor/bill thingee.

PLEASE, Oh, Please add this feature.

    Thanks!

  11. Allow use of Thunderbird email client

QB allows integration to some extent with Outlook, Entourage, and Apple Mail, but what about Thunderbird as a default email client?

    1) Crash Catcher is otherwise useless.
    2) Would also be handy to use the email invoice feature.

  13. Improve Online bill paying - like QB Windows

Enter the vendor invoices into Pay Bills, check online bill-pay ( your Bank set-up) and off they go. Everything in an easy step as it has been done in QB for Windows for many years. I have been asking for this for some time. Why is Intuit dragging their feet on that?

  16. Add capability to print a report's basis: Cash or Accrual - like QB Windows

Financial reports can be modified in Qbooks for Mac between Cash or Accrual basis - the basis should be able to be displayed and printed on the report as in Qbooks for Windows

  17. Fix the text box issues in layout designer

In layout designer, when you choose to add a text box, the software does not allow you to add text. This is an obvious glitch.

  20. Add the ability to edit multiple transactions at once.

It would be so helpful to be able to edit multiple similar transactions as a single edit. For example, change the memo line for 10 payments from the same client in a single action. Or changing the account on 50 similar transactions at once.

Repeatedly performing the same edits over and over again is a huge productivity drain.

A good example of batch editing on the Mac is iTunes. You can select multiple songs, and then edit the selection's metadata (artist, genre, record, etc).
